Passionate about photography, writing, human rights, education, and health, Camille loves to travel and connect with people from around the world. She was born and raised in McMinnville, Oregon and received a bachelors degree in Global Studies with a concentration in Development and Social Justice from Pacific Lutheran University in Washington State. She served in Peace Corps Guatemala from 2019-2020 and was a part of the evacuation due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Having an interest in languages, Camille has a TEFL certificate and is a high proficiency Spanish speaker. Throughout her travels to Mexico, Trinidad and Tobago, and Guatemala, Camille was inspired to write about her experiences and use her love for photography to document the potential and power of human connection. In May of 2022 Camille became a certified Labor Doula and is excited to be living her dream of supporting mamas and their families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Camille is a follower of Jesus and does all her work with the intention of bringing glory to the Father. Camille is married to her best friend and they live together in Oregon. She is currently working at a Community Care Organization that supports education and healthcare in her county.
